Lymphatic Massage
Lymphatic drainage massage is a specialized, gentle technique that uses light rhythmic strokes to stimulate lymph flow. It reduces swelling, encourages detoxification and boosts immune function by removing excess fluid toward lymph nodes
Light pressure is used to prevent the collapsing of the delicate lymph vessels.
Rhythmic motion like stationary circles, pumping and scooping mimic the body’s natural lymph contraction through the muscle tissue to remove waste.
The benefits of lymphatic drainage are to improve symptoms of swelling in the arms, legs and feet caused by conditions like Lymphoma, diabetes or even just being on your feet all day.
Lymphatic drainage can also help calm the parasympathetic nervous system, providing deep and calming relaxation.
Ellen Brakel, RMT has been practicing Massage, Lymphatic drainage and Cranial Sacral Therapy for over 30 years.
